I have been busy with a new design collective I am part of called bricolage. We are five textile designers who have joined together to show our work as a collective and share resources and support each other.

Alongside showing our work together, we are also passionate about passing on our textile skill and knowledge and have been rolling out a series of textile workshops.

Last weekend we were at the Festival of Interdependence, organised by the New Economics Foundation (nef), who ran an event of free talks and workshops all based around climate change and the 'Great Transition' we need to make as a society in the future.

We had large scale knitting and lessons on how to make patchwork pieces using recycled fabrics. A group of us also sat and stitched as we listened to Kate Fletcher talk about her Local Wisdom project.
